Submit your entry
Create an account
All entries must be submitted digitally. In order to submit an entry, you simply log in to the competition page using your Facebook or Twitter account. You can also create an account by using your email. Once you have connected your account to the competition, fill in the requested information and upload an image of your proposed artwork.

You can upload a maximum of four images and we welcome images for the type of area where your artwork can be placed. If you decide to upload multiple images, you will be required to select one main image. The image you select will be the one displayed alongside all the other entries, so choose carefully. Images should be in jpg format.
View your entry
When you have completed all of the necessary steps. click “SAVE”. You will now be able to view your entry on the Gallery page. You can now share your competition entry on social media to gather more votes! Keep in mind that only the 21 entries with the most votes will advance to the final. Entrants are permitted to submit multiple entries. You can view your submitted entries and number of votes for each entry on My Profil.

When you have created an account and submitted an entry you can enter My Profile. My Profile is your personal site where you can keep track on your submitted entries. Here you can also view numbers of votes you collected for each entry. If you regret an art work, you can always delete it in My Profile.

The 21 competition entries that receive the most votes (listed under Top 21) will advance to the final. As part of the final, all 21 entries will be carefully assessed to eliminate cheating or potential manipulation of the voting. Once 21 entries have been cleared to compete in the final, the jury will begin its deliberations. From those 21 finalists, the jury will select 10 Gold winners, each of whom will receive 1,000 Euros and have their entry painted somewhere along the route by unemployed youths.

The jury will also name two Diamond winners from all of the entrants. The Diamond winners will receive 2,000 Euros and a trip to Gothenburg to paint their artwork in person. The winners will be presented at a special event during the Gothenburg Culture Festival (16th-20th August) which will also be live streamed.
How to vote
Anyone with a computer, tablet or a smartphone can vote! You can vote only once from each device. The 21 entries that collect the most votes will advance to the final. You can boost your chances of getting more votes by sharing your entry on social media. Voting opens on 4th April and closes at 2:00 pm on 3rd July (CET).
View number of votes
When you submitted an entry you can view number of votes for each art work in My Profile. You can only view the number of votes for your own entries. During Top 21 you can view which art works who has the highest number of votes but not specific how many votes each and one have at the moment.
The 21 entries that collect the most votes will advance to the final. From these entries, the jury will name a total of 12 winners.
The jury will name two Diamond winners from among the 21 entries which receive the most votes or from among the other entries received. The winners will be presented at a special event during the Gothenburg Culture Festival (16th-20th August).
The jury will name 10 Gold winners from among the 21 entries which receive the most votes.

A maximum of 2021 winners will get their entries created by unemployed youths from suburbs with high rate of unemployment, with help from experienced professionals. The winners will be presented during the fall of 2017.
